Vintage Japanese Dragonware teapot with sculptural dragon-shaped spout, handle, and lid finial. Features classic raised moriage enamel details, smoky black luster glaze, and hand-painted dragon imagery wrapping the body. Unmarked, typical of mid-century Japanese dragonware production (1940s-50s).
Some expected moriage wear/loss on the raised white enamel detailing (see photos). Overall displays beautifully. Also has crazing line on bottom, not a true crack.
Beautiful display piece with great color and texture.
No maker's stamp.
